Fixings Range
Tapfix

An extensive range of traditional self tapping fixings are available in both carbon steel and stainless steel. Sheet to timber fixings with type 17 thread and self piercing point ensure maximum pull out valves in timber application.

The CFT comprehensive rangeof carbon self drilling screws. Both 'A.B' point and 'B' types of these self tapping screws have been manufactured from the highest quality case hardened carbon steel and S. Steel. The A.B.S Steel thread type provided very high pullout values when used for fixing into light steel (up to 5mm thick) and also all timber applications. The 'B' thread offers all these benefits but is only used for fixings into hot Rolled Steel over 5.5. thick and up to 12mm. AB and B type thread must penetrate a minimum of 5mm through the material they are fixing into with a minimum of 40mm penetration of the AB point into timber. AB points can also be used for repairing misplaced fixing in sheet of sheet or rail/purlin applications.
