  • Surface temperature 0° to 160° F

Application Instructions

  • Strip Sealents (Lapstrip, Hp400)

  • The required thickness of strip is dependent on the anticipated movement of the joint. The greater the movement the thicker the strip.

  • To form a weather tight seal, the strip must be applied under compression.

  • Apply strip to the ridges and troughs for end lap joints in profiled sheeting. Do not bridge troughs. Apply ridges on side laps.

  • Sealants may be tooled immediately after application within the working time of the product.


  • Ensure good contact between sealant and both surfaces of the joint.


  • Use primer when applying to coated steel and Aluminium to improve adhesion.
